Reindex is a Web based library management service offering all the traditional functions of an ILS, plus many new additional possibilities.
Reindex is based on industry standards such as XML, SRU and Z39.50. Reindex utilizes Web 2.0 design principles. Micro updates (2-3 each month) keep the service current.
The service is unique in that it is not structured using modules. All functions are integrated in one interface permitting fluid movement between functions. Access to the functions is controlled by login roles assigned by a system administrator.
All major browsers are supported, and they are the only software required to use the system. As a result there are no software upgrade costs and no software distributions to be done in your library. Getting started is as simple as signing up, sending us your files to convert, taking a short training course — and you can start using your new ILS!
